Charge Limit Resetting

You may notice that your charge limit reverts after setting it to a different limit.

Beginning in October 2023, Tesla may automatically reset the charge limit to the recommended charging level for the type of battery in the vehicle.

As a workaround to prevent charging to higher limits, you can set the charging amps to 0. This may take multiple attempts, as the vehicle may reject the first attempt to set the amps below 5.
