About Keep Accessory Power Mode

Typically, accessory power is only available when the vehicle is in use or detects that a user is present.

Using Keep Accessory Power Mode, you can continue powering or charging your devices through USB ports and low-voltage outlets without a user present.

Requires firmware 2025.38+.

How to use it

  • Manually: Select the Battery > Accessory Power control.
  • Automations: Select the Enable/Disable Keep Accessory Power Mode actions under Automations.
  • iOS Shortcuts: Select the Enable/Disable Keep Accessory Power Mode actions in the Shortcuts app.
  • Using an API: Use the Enable Keep Accessory Power Mode and Disable Keep Accessory Power Mode endpoints.

Keep Accessory Power Mode increases energy usage even if a device is not connected.
