About Low Power Mode


Use Low Power Mode to maximize your range and preserve battery life, whether you're away for a time or looking to optimize your daily energy usage.

Requires firmware 2025.32+.

How it works

To extend your battery life, the following features are temporarily disabled when Low Power Mode is active:

  • Sentry Mode
  • Keep Accessory Power On
  • Summon Standby Mode
  • Keep Climate On and Camp Mode
  • Cabin Overheat Protection
  • Preconditioning

How to use it

  • Manually: Select the Battery > Low Power control
  • Using Automations: Select the Enable/Disable Low Power Mode actions under Automations
  • Using iOS Shortcuts: Select the Enable/Disable Low Power Mode actions in the Shortcuts app
  • Using an API: Use the Enable Low Power Mode and Disable Low Power Mode endpoints
