Missing Location Data

If maps aren't displayed, or locations are displayed as "Unknown", it means the vehicle isn't sending Tessie location data.

To fix this, enable the Vehicle Location permission in your Tesla account:

  1. In Tessie, select Settings > Connectivity > Change Permissions
  2. Check the Vehicle Location checkbox and select Update
  3. Return to Tessie and see if the location warning disappears

After the vehicle wakes up and starts moving, it will begin to report location data.
