About Fuel Costs

Tessie helps you compare the costs of your electric vehicle with those of a gas vehicle.

Set up fuel costs

Visit Settings > Fuel Costs to enter the efficiency and fuel price of the gas vehicle you'd like to compare against.

Charges and Charges > Analytics display fuel costs based on the range added while charging.

This is an optimistic comparison because it assumes that subsequent driving is 100% efficient.

Drives and Drives > Analytics display fuel costs based on actual distance driven.

This is a realistic comparison that reflects real-world driving conditions.
