Fuel Costs

Visit Settings > Fuel Costs to configure the efficiency and fuel cost of the gas vehicle you'd like to compare to. These settings affect all fuel cost calculations in Tessie.

Tessie provides two ways to compare fuel costs:

Range added while charging

Charges > History and Analytics show fuel costs using the range added while charging. This is an optimistic comparison that assumes driving is 100% efficient.

Real-world driving

Drives > History and Analytics show fuel costs using the distance driven. This is a realistic comparison takes into account real-world driving conditions.
