Add Tesla status widgets to your home screen.
Adding a widget
- Press and hold on the home screen
- Tap Widgets
- Scroll down and tap Tessie to select and add a widget
Customizing a widget
You can select a different vehicle, customize control shortcuts and change the theme by editing the widget.
- Press and hold the widget
- Tap the pencil icon if it exists, or drag the widget to the Widget Settings button at the top of the screen
If widgets aren't updating or controls aren't working
Google limits widget updates on Android to once every 30 minutes. Specific Android versions, launcher apps and manufacturers institute a longer refresh period.
Certain phone settings will prevent the widget from automatically updating or communicating with the internet. Perform the following steps to ensure widget reliability:
- Disable Settings > Network & Internet > Data Saver
- Disable Settings > Network & Internet > Adaptive Connectivity
